NURORDA is the converging place of knowledge and love

     Located in Ust-kamenogorsk,“Nurorda” school-lyceum was opened on the 1 st of September in 2010 by the Mayor of East Kazakhstan region, Saparbaev Berdibek Mashbekuly

The lyceum school “NURORDA” is the educational place that is working on thorough upbringing of conscious and intelligent citizens for the future of the independent country.

The major values: the child, the child’s mood, the child’s confidence in school and teachers.

The development of multilingualism : the knowledge of three languages is the prerequisite for one’s wellbeing and success.

     Aim: To foster intellectually developed, competitive, educated, patriotic generation, with true moral and ethical principles, by creating favorable conditions for professional development of teachers.

     Objectives:

• to identify and develop intellectual and creative skills of the students.
• to enhance motivation for constant self-development;
• to raise love for their homeland and a sense of responsibility to the motherland, society and family. To educate to be patriotic, investigative, versatile, able to express their opinion freely;
• to instill an understanding of the values of humanism and rectitude.

Curriculum

     Curriculum of «NURORDA» lyceum is based on the “the State educational standards of appropriate levels of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

     Schedule is made in compliance with the sanitary standards. Study week is 5 days a week, on Saturday elective classes are held.

     Education is held in Kazakh and English languages. Besides Russian and Literature, Turkish languages are included in the school program.

     The possibility is made to take full necessary information about each part. The educational program is conducted in correspondence with the complex plan of the National Educational Academy. Educational activities are pointed to inure development of good qualities and implemented in accessible level for the students.

The teaching staff is recruited with careful special selection. The staff of our school, introduces the world's achievements in learning and implements the national projects, works indefatigably on the provision of qualitative education; education of generations that knows  the value of human qualities; intellectual education of the nation.

Features of Our School

• New classes and classrooms of NURORDa school-lyceum are equipped with modern media and interactive whiteboards for student’s comfort
• A laboratory with IMac computers, sports, dance and music halls, swimming pool, library, reading room, auditorium, photo studio are serving for students
• Students are given the option to participate in circles of different directions that positively affects the educational process
• The students is at school from 8am to 6pm
• The kindergarten is in English for 3, 4, 5 years olds
• In 1-6 th forms, English, mathematics and natural science are taught by foreign teachers according to the Cambridge program
• In 7-11 th forms, natural science and mathematics are taught in English
• Sisco network robotics – beginning from the 9 th form, the construction of robots is held on the informatics lessons
• In the 10-11 th forms, preparation for IELTS
• Etude – the special time to do homework included into the schedule
• Three hot meals
• 20 minutes for reading books
• Books in English and according to the state standard
